Όπως και κάθε χρόνο, η διεθνής έκθεση South by Southwest, ή αλλιώς γνωστή και ως SXSW, ανακοίνωσε τις κατηγορίες και τις υποψηφιότητες των Gaming Awards. Η έκθεση λαμβάνει χώρα στο Όστιν του Τέξας και το Austin Convention Center συγκεκριμένα. Η ημερομηνία διεξαγωγής της Gaming Expo είναι από τις 16 έως τις 18 Μαρτίου.
